Full name: Magdalen Aithne ["Awn-ya"] Arkwright
I'm Catholic. Roman Catholic by birth and Confirmation. This affects my views and will reflect on my writing.
I am pro-family and pro-life.
I am twenty.
I am attending Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. I am majoring in English: Writing, minoring in Multimedia, dreaming of life as a farm wife.
A compulsive writer, little of what I write makes sense, and very little of it makes itself. I keep a diary, two blogs, and numerous stories and notes going simultaneously. I never get tired of writing. If my creativity runs dry in fantasy writing, I focus on my journaling and note taking. I use pens, pencils, and markers on paper or I type on my computer – whatever it takes to get my thoughts flowing properly. I live in my head sometimes, and it takes only the most persistent and charitable of people to put up with me when I'm too lost in that maze to find my way back to the real world.
I'm moody.
I started this blog because I love to write and put down my ideas, and all geniuses crave recognition (yes, I just praised myself…). Sometimes I abuse this blog - and I apologize to my readers. However, I very much enjoy sharing my knowledge with others because I enjoy reading the knowledge of others on topics I care about. And so I want to contribute so others like me can find useful information.

I want to publish a novel - at least one - someday but I first want to study my objective so that the finished product is worth its effort. When you pick up my novel, it oughtn't to be something flimsy, flopping back and forth and having not one strong line to hold it true. My novel will be strong and firm and thick, if not physically, and it will weight your mind as well as your hand.
I am also a bit wild. I do not do drugs, smoking, or drinking - this is against my principles - but I like to run after my dreams. A long explanation is tedious and so I will not give one. Rather, my writing will do the work for me. Still:
I like reading, writing, cleaning, gardening, baking, cooking, babysitting, drawing, sewing, knitting, learning, and designing. I love to find the romance in everything while still admitting the reality - I must admit reality for it corners me in the dark when I have forgotten it - and like to sometimes put my everyday experience into "novel form", describing things with such elaborate and delicate detail in my head that I begin to wish I could write with such elegance.
I write about life. I am a normal American girl in that the daily grind and trials affect me, as they affect anyone. But I am not a normal American girl for many reasons. I grew up as a severe loner, and I was taught at home from seventh grade through high school. Now, as I make my way in the world, I encounter fresh challenges that are normal to most people. It is my opinion that I write about these challenges in a fresh, unique way, and that my background and history have shaped my writing style as well as my view on life.
The rest you can read between the lines.
