Tagged

Thanks so much to Maggie from A Window on the West for tagging me.

1) post these rules
2) you must post 11 random things about yourself
3) answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post
4) create 11 new questions for the people you tag to answer
5) go to their blog and tell them they've been tagged

I don't know if I'm supposed to answer all the questions or just Maggie's, but I will because it's fun!

The 11 random things about myself...

One: I can't listen to music and study effectively at the same time.
Two: I love school but hate doing it.
Three: I love to journal.
Four: I have fifteen drawings taped to my wall, four more on my drawing board, and some in a folder and some in an envelope.
Five: I can't decide whether it should be 'onvelope' or 'envelope'.
Six: I'm growing increasingly annoyed with jeans.
Seven: I didn't have to write an essay to apply to FUS but now I'm bogged down with scholarship essays.
Eight: My bed is a mess right now.
Nine: I'm a "second mother" to my god-brother.
Ten: I've made a cape for most of the females I know except me.
Eleven: I wish I hadn't painted my walls purple.

Eleven answers to eleven questions:
1. What is your favorite quote? "Frank is a singer that comes along once in a lifetime, but why'd he have to come in mine?" - Bing Crobsy
2. What is the furthest you've been from home? Florida
3. What is the last thing you ate? Peanut butter bagel
4. Favorite "fun" book? Howl's Moving Castle
5. What is the last show you saw? That Girl
6. What is your favorite book of the Bible and why? Probably The Gospel of St. John because I particularly like Saint John, or maybe one of the books of Jeremiah, because I connect with his loneliness, if not his difficulties.
7. What is your favorite sports team? Hard to say.  I'm loyal to all my state teams.  We don't have cable so we get very little sports, but I enjoy all of it, especially hockey.  It's better with friends though.
8. Colored pencil or crayons? Colored pencils
9. Do you collect anything? I sorta collect statuettes
10. What is your favorite dessert? top-of-the-line vanilla ice cream - very light, not filling, still incredibly tasty
11.  What is the last crafty thing you made? a cloak for someone as a Christmas present - unless you count the sketch of Vera-Ellen I made

Maggie's questions:

1.  What is your favorite vocal prayer? probably the one to Saint Michael, although I most often pray Hail Marys
2.  If you had to choose between reading only ancient literature and only medieval literature for a year, which would you choose? medieval, I think
3.  Who is your favorite author of the 20th century?  Gee, I don't have one, sorry
4.  Do you prefer historical fiction or science fiction? historical
5.  Do you make your bed every morning and how do you make it?  not every morning - in the winter, I just straighten my sheets, because my electric blanket makes things very difficult
6.  E-reader or physical book? physical
7.  What was the last thing you drank? water
8.  What is your least favorite song by your favorite musician? Chihuahua Choo-choo
9.  Who is your favorite superhero? ....  Well, I know every single one of them personally so I wouldn't want to offend any of them by picking one above the rest.  (lol)
10.  What is your favorite Christmas carol? O Little Town of Bethlehem
11.  Have you ever checked under your bed for monsters? yes
And I'd like to know your own answers to these questions, Maggie!

Okay, now I have to come up with eleven more questions?  Gee, what else is there? (that's not the first question)

What do you usually do in your spare time?
What is one of your short-term goals?
Do you have a favorite pen?
You buy a clock: analogue or digital?
What's your favorite movie?
How do you spend most of your time online?
How do you spend most of your time outside?
What are you best know for among your friends and/or family?
Do you like Shakespeare?
If you were given the choice of what to do this evening (say there's no limit), what would you do?
Have you ever slept in past ten?

Well, not so hard as I thought it'd be.
I'd like to pass this one to Mandi at The Thoughts of Mandi.  Consider yourself tagged!  (But if anyone else wishes to be tagged, technically I suppose you could just do it, or you could let me know and I'll officially tag you!)
